Auction Terms
These terms govern the release and acquisition of original works by Jessica Palm.
Release Structure
Original paintings are released during limited, scheduled auction windows. Each original is one of one. Releases are not continuous; this structure is intended to give each work a focused moment of attention, not to manufacture demand.
Bidder Registration
To place a bid, collectors must complete secure bidder registration. Registration confirms your identity and contact details so the studio can confirm bids and notify you if you are outbid.
Bidding
Bids must meet or exceed the current minimum bid, calculated as the current bid plus the minimum increment. Each auction displays the opening bid, current bid, minimum increment, and closing time.
Outbid Notifications
Registered bidders receive email notification if they are outbid, providing an opportunity to place a higher bid before the auction closes.
Closing
Each auction closes at a stated date and time. The highest registered bid at closing is declared the collector. In the event of a dispute, the studio reserves the right to determine the valid winning bid.
Provenance & Condition
Registered collectors receive advance previews, dimensions, materials, and condition information before each public event. Each original is accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity confirming the work as one of one.
Payment
The winning bid is due upon invoice. The studio will contact the winning collector to arrange payment and delivery. Accepted methods are detailed at the time of invoice.
Shipping, Delivery & Insurance
Original works are professionally crated and fully insured in transit. Domestic shipping is arranged by the studio. International delivery is available on request and may incur additional duties or fees.
No False Claims
Gestured Terrain does not represent waiting lists, demand figures, or collector counts. Exclusivity is genuine and based on limited availability, scheduled release windows, and the one-of-one nature of each original.
